Five years ago I introduced Kenny to Zion National Park.

I told him about a place that is totally beautiful. When you stand still your feet hum with the earth down to it’s core and I swear you can feel God in that energy surrounding you. I wanted him to come with me. He did and fell in love with it too.

I was able to go this past weekend for two days. Two days! Grab it and go! I needed to hug a tree. I am in my glory climbing up these trails. I hadn’t been there for almost a year. There had been extremely forceful thunderstorms from previous days and were still in the area so we couldn’t go to a lot of my favorite spots

A person named Jennifer said that I only had pictures of Kenny in here which is not true there’s my eyeball at the very end! And I even look really tired in that picture so I thought it was good enough. Big old bags and dark circles under my eyes... So here’s one of me taken in Nov. 2003 when we went with my girls… and the assorted crew. I was off trail in the middle of hoisting myself up on to a large sandstone boulder, surrounded by water. I had to jump over to where I was in the first place, then Kenny told me he wanted me to stand still. Thus the look on my face.
